Spring update

People in our local enviroment,  International week and Marsh farm.

We learnt all about ‘People in our local environment’ and how they help us. We had lots of visitors that came to see us and talk about their job and responsibilities. It was interesting to hear all about the different things they do, the uniform they wear, where they work and how they help us.

We recognised that we need to look after our environment and talked about how to be safe when outside. We took a visit to West Ham Park and looked at natural objects and our local environment.

To show off all our work and what we learnt we held an exhibition for everyone to come and see our special work.

During International Week  we took part in a carnival where we learnt all about China and won best costume!!

After half term we started learning about and reading lots of ‘Traditional Tales’. We acted out the stories and pretended to be the characters.

We visited Marsh Farm to look at the different animals and how they are looked after. We even saw animals that had been in our stories.
