Maths

In Maths, we showed teamwork by making a tally for the class’ favourite dish. We then used a tally of the number of children from different continents and turned it into a pictogram. Doing this helped us remember facts from geography as we recalled the names of all the continents, all while handling data!

Literacy

This term in Literacy we have been looking into the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. After watching a live performance of the story, we wrote letters to help Goldilocks apologise for going into the Three Bears’ cottage without asking. We also helped Goldilocks apologise for eating their porridge, breaking their armchair and sleeping in their beds.

Topic

This term in preparation for International Week, we learned all about the UK. We used a range of maps including Google Maps and Atlases to find out the location of the UK and its four countries. We also made our own map with a key to locate the human and physical features within England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
