Curwen School Choir sing at Young Voices

Curwen Primary School joined in with over 180 primary schools from across the country with 7810 primary school children taking part in the young voices concert at The O2 on Friday, 20th January.

This is the second year the Curwen school choir embarked on this electrifying event, singing to this sold out event.

The choir began rehearsing for this once a week since September.

Young voices combine the power of singing together as one, with accompaniment from a wide range of musicians and artists, to create an amazing performance. With a full live band, backing singers and the internationally acclaimed conductor David Lawrence, it makes for one of the most exciting and memorable musical experiences you can imagine.

'Our singing was just one part of the performance. There was also the lighting show and dancing as well. All this when put together made it a night to remember,' said Ms Mahabeer, the choir teacher.

Naomi, a Year 5 pupil, said, ‘we had an awesome time again. It is my second time at Young Voices and Iwant to do it again next year.’
