As part of the International Family Week Thursday, 21st March we celebrated “All about me” by learning about ourselves and taking part in a cultural fashion show.

The day was spent celebrating “All About Me”. In our lessons Years 1 and 2 discussed what belonging, identity and culture means. Years 3 and 4 focused on British culture, diversity, equality and multiculturalism. Years 5 and 6 reflected on heritage, compassion and what they are proud of their culture.

The heart space was transformed into a catwalk with children, parents and staff showcasing their traditional and cultural clothing.

The Fashion Show displayed a catwalk of a wide range of traditional clothing from over 100 countries where our children’s heritage originates.
