At Curwen we LOVE reading!

As part of our Autumn Celebration assembly it was fantastic to see so many children receive prizes as a result of our termly reading raffle.

Children earn reading raffle tickets for all the amazing reading that goes on at home with family members and by recording this in their reading records.

Children were also given ‘Star Reader’ awards by their literacy teachers for demonstrating the reading skills that have been taught or for making really good progress in their reading.
