Spring Update

In January the School Council presented their achievements so far to the school governors. The Anti-Bullying Policy was approved by the board of governors.

The focused turned to improving the playground. With big plans for the KS2 playground in motion for next year the school council scaled back some plans. The children reviewed audits of the playground carried out in the autumn term and came up with plans to transform the areas that children found the least inspiring. They chose equipment and games for children to enjoy in all three playgrounds in the school.

Pupil Parliament

The Pupil Parliament continued to meet with Newham Council about their plans for The Young Person’s Charter. They discussed the local facilities and put forward their ideas to improve them. Newham shared the final draft of what the charter will look like with the children.
