In History, this term Year 3 has been learning about Ancient Egypt. What an interesting topic this has been! We found out why people settled by the River Nile thousands of years ago. It was great fun to act out the different ways ancient Egyptians used the river in their everyday life. Have a look at some of our amazing homework projects linked to our topic!

This term Year 3 went to the British Museum as part of our History topic – ancient Egypt. We were all completely fascinated by the artefacts we saw, most of all by the beautifully inscribed and decorated sarcophaguses and the mummies! There was so much to see and learn! We created a fact file about some of the artefacts and absolutely loved chatting about the things we found out!
