Summer 1 Update

This half-term Year 3 visited the Natural History Museum to find out more about our Geography topic - Volcanoes and Earthquakes. We looked at how these devastating natural disasters are formed and what happens during the event of a volcanic eruption or an earthquake. The most exciting part of the trip was when we went into a little shop where we experienced a simulation of an earthquake. What a frightful experience that was!

We also visited the Investigation Lab where we could explore many natural objects like fossils, rocks, shells and many others. It was great to be able to put our scientific enquiry skills into practice.
