Autumn 2

Romans, Anti-Bullying and Eucalee.

Roman Museum fast approaching! All things Roman from this term. Come and visit our Roman Museum on 8th December from 2pm.  Our Museum will include Roman Mosaics, a Roman Ampitheatre, a Roman battlefield and traditional Roman dress. There will also be the chance to view children's Powerpoint presentations all about the Romans! Don't forget our trip to the Museum of London on 10th/11th December!

Our Anti-bullying week was a huge success. We have been writing about bullies in our Literacy sessions in the form of a Journalistic recount. We have acted out different incidents and talked about how it would make us feel. Please visit our Year 4 progression board (located in KS1) to view some of our fantastic work!

Our children are all learning the Eucalalee with Mr Lawrence. The best 8 children from each class will be chosen and will perform in our Christmas Concert.

In Science, we have been learning about how sounds are produced. We have conducted experiments to explore how sound travels through different mediums. We will be making traditional Roman instruments using recycled materials. If they are finished in time-they will be on display in our Roman Museum!
