Easter Bonnet Parade

Bunnies, chicks, nests and flowers

On Wednesday 1st April we celebrated our Annual Easter Bonnet parade at Curwen. Lots of children spent many hours (in some cases days!) designing and making their Easter-themed hats using feathers, cotton wool, eggs and ribbons amongst other things. There were plenty of chicks, nests, rabbits, flowers on display and even a Humpty Dumpty sat on his wall was featured! We then paraded through the school to show-off these wonderful exhibits to the whole school as well as the many parents, carers and visitors that joined us. It was truly a magnificent display of colour and creativity and our judges Mr Andi Smith, Miss Mckenna and Mrs Wood, really had a difficult choice to make when deciding the winners. Many were rewarded with chocolate eggs for their hard work and effort.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and help which made it such an EGGcellent afternoon!
