Curwen Supports Children In Need

Friday 18th November saw an explosion of music, dancing, cakes (and of course spots!) around Curwen Primary School as we raised money for our annual Children in Need day. The organisation provides much needed support for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people around the country.

The day began with children and staff coming to school wearing all things spotty including t-shirts, scarves, pyjamas, bowties and even the occasional onesie!

The School Council decorated and sold spotty cakes at break time raising a massive £147.55 towards the total. Well done School Council!

The day ended with a huge disco taking over the school. Children, parents and staff boogied the evening away to classic tunes.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all our children, parents and staff for their support, as together we raised a grand total of £841.47. Well done to our Curwen Community!
