Children in Reception have been attending Forest school sessions during our summer term. Each class has a morning every week where they have the opportunity to come and explore the Forest School area. Children have a number activities to choose from during their sessions including Digging, Charcoal sawing, Den building and more. Whilst we encourage children to explore independently during this time some children choose to take part in an activity led by Mr Cullen, where throughout this term children have had the opportunity to learn some new skills whilst making Bug Houses, Stick Wrapping, Charcoal Leaf Printing, Symmetry Leaf Printing and Bug Hunting! The children have been loving the outdoors and have been more and more enthusiastic during their sessions and most importantly having loads of fun!
