We are pleased to announce that Curwen has just been awarded a Certificate of Membership to the Unicorn Theatre at London Bridge. This is in recognition of Curwen’s school-wide commitment to creative learning through live theatre experiences. Over a number of years our children have enjoyed a wide variety of performances which have been an integral part of our wider Curwen curriculum. Through these visits children have gained a greater understanding of Theatre and the arts, developing skills such as confidence, speaking, listening and writing and performing play scripts.

These experiences have inspired our children to want to develop their own performance skills further and take part in other creative experiences, such as the annual Shakespeare School’s Festival and Festival of Voices.
