Year 4 compete in a problem solving tournament!

Well done all of Year 4 for preserving through the toughest of maths problems solving challenges!

The children showed great resilience and team work during Curwen’s first problem solving competition.

The comments from both the staff and pupils were extremely positive:

‘Excellent level pf engagement, children built confidence. Well done!’

‘It was challenging but tried our best. I liked it when I got the questions right!’

‘Loved code breaking but need more work on 24.’

‘I liked it because it was challenging. Especially the Pentominoes.’

‘The children were so proud of themselves when they got something right. Great to see.’

Curwen’s Year 4 would like to do this again in the summer term to compare their results.
