Holiday Club Report October 2019

This October half term, Curwen’s spectacular holiday club ran for three days. For two days the children were able to get involved with Gymnastics, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Cycling. Not only this, but, the children were able to bake cinnamon rolls and mini pizzas to take home with them.

As part of our new program through Forest Schools, the children had the opportunity to build a sustainable shelter and build a fire it suitable to use. The children had to ensure that the shelter would keep them safe and dry. Unfortunately for some, they got wet! To top it off, they enjoyed a nice cup of hot chocolate around the camp.

On the third day, our first “Family Stay and Play” event took place during holiday club. Here, the families were able to take part in the activities with their children such as Cooking, Arts and Crafts, Cycling, Gymnastics and Forest school activities. Over 24 families attended this half term. Thank you joining us!

Our next holiday club will be during February half term so please keep an eye out for dates in the newsletter, holiday club letters and all information will be able to find on our app
