Last week all of the girls at Curwen Primary School were able to participate in “Girls Football Week” which is an initiative run by the FA to increase the participation of girls in football. Every lunchtime, PE lesson and during clubs, the girls were able to show off their skills on the pitch! This was a fantastic success with over 100 girls taking part and we may have found the next Lucy Bronze! The end of the week saw a match between our female staff and the year 6 girls, supported by an amazing crowd. Well done to all who participated and thank you to the supporters!
