Summer 2 Update

During Summer 2 our year 5 pupils have continued their work on sustainability and have made some lovely recycled sandwich bags! We were all shocked to learn that we consume about a credit card worth of plastic a year due to the plastic pollution we have introduced to our environment.

As well as learning more about the environment we have managed to squeeze in many other exciting things. We held our Eid assembly, where we discussed what Eid means to us and talked about why and how it is celebrated. We visited the East London Mosque and had an extremely informative tour where we learnt lots more information and saw some bees! Also, we all took part in sports day and family week – it’s been a great term!
