Summer Update

Refugee Week

In June the school celebrated Refugee Week. The School Council marked the week by recording a special video for assembly explaining what refugees are and how they can be supported in communities. During the week the Council helped children make welcome cards in the playground. Storybooks were ordered for KS1 and Early Years to share. The school also collected almost 200 items of food which was donated to The Renewal Programme which works with families in Newham. The cards the children made were also passed onto the local charity.

Cards and food donations were passed on to the Renewal Programme in East Ham.
