Year 6 Students visit Ernst & Young
Since their Big Sell-Off last December, Students from Curwen have been going from strength to strength in their enterprise skills. The Year 6 students they especially selected for today’s challenge joined forces with Year 5s from another school. The aspiring entrepreneurs were eager to stretch their Working in a Team in the heart of the city as they applied their skills in the real world of work.
Ernst & Young, now known as EY, is a multinational professional services firm headquartered in London. Dating back to 1849, the firm now employs over 200,000 people in more than 700 offices across 150 countries in the world. It provides assurance (including financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services to companies. Today expert volunteers Varun, Steve, Alex, Nizam and Ashni were on hand to help the budding entrepreneurs hone in on Listening Carefully and Problem Solving. Let’s see how they got on.
