In this session, the children explored, observed and researched forces with 4 different activities (igniting with a fire steel, whittling, den-building and tug-of-war)

For each activity, children:

- Made a prediction about what forces were at work

- Tried the activity

- Read about the forces at work

- Discovered if their predictions were correct
