Members of the School Council visited the House of Parliament. We learnt about how democracy operates in the UK and the history of Parliament.

We found out that members of Parliaments are elected representatives just like us, and they debate and enact important decisions to help everyone living in the UK.

School Council City Hall Trip

School Council also visited City Hall. We learnt about how the London Assembly operates and the role of the Mayor of London in our local democracy.

We also go the chance to sit in on a Committee looking at retro fitting existing buildings. We got a shout-out from the Committee leader which was exciting.
