Spelling Tree Champions!
Published 19/04/18A huge well done to Zaeem (5L), Saeed (5L), Ihsan (5CB) and Ama (4G) for competing in a recent inter-school Spelling Tree competition and coming joint first with North Beckton! The children had practised for weeks for the event and their hard work paid off on the day. Some of the words were chosen from a list of 100 that the children had been given, however many, for example 'euphoria' were not! They children had a great time competing and were presented with winners medals and a trophy that will be shared between the two schools.

The Urban Debate League
Published 18/04/18We are glad to announce that our students have ranked as one of the top 10 schools nationally in this year's Primary Urban Debate League! If you haven't seen the results yet, you can find them here. We've said it many times before, but we really have been so impressed by the standard of debates this year. We are really proud of what our children have achieved.
We have been invited to the final stage of the competition on Monday 21st May at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
