  • International Week: Parents’ Food Competition

    As part of International Family Week we held the Parent Food Competition on Monday, 18th March 2024.

    Two categories made up of savoury and sweet enabled parents to showcase dishes from their own cultures and heritages. Lots of parents entered our annual food competition. We had entries from across the world and the judges had a very hard job as they were all DELICIOUS! Thank you so much to all our entrants.

    Congratulations to our winners:

    Sweet
    1st = Alina with Romanian Papanasi with sweet cheese (children in years 1 & 5)
    2nd = Seda with Turkish Baklava (child in year 3)
    3rd = Iara with a Brazilian Chocolate Coconut Cake (child in year 2)

    Savoury
    1st = Dianna with a Bulgarian Pogacha (children in RDR & year 1)
    2nd = Farhia with Somali rice and lamb (children in years 5 & 6)
    3rd = Sumera & Ahfan with samosas and kebab from Pakistan (child in year 2)
