My name is Asahi, and I am in year 6 at Curwen Primary School. I have been at Curwen all the way through school, and have a passion for learning and challenging myself. In class, I enjoy Maths as the teachers are always helpful. It is a good subject to challenge yourself in, as if something is hard, you can keep trying and then, when you get it, it’s really fun.

I also enjoy being a Sports Leader. It is very entertaining to help the younger children improve themselves and be more confident. Maybe when they are older they will want to be a Sports Leader too! Doing sport is great fun. You are never bored and sometimes get to enjoy being out in the sunshine.

In September, I am off to Bobby Moore for secondary school. I was keen to go there to continue my sports as apparently you get to play in the London Stadium, which would be fantastic! I will miss my teachers and the lunches at Curwen, but I am looking forward to the new challenges.
