The digital  Summer Reading Challenge Silly Squad  is now live and our children can join up by clicking the link below. For the online challenge children set their own reading goals, rate and review books and can take part in some fun digital activities.

The challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays, providing lots of fun and enjoyment as well as helping to prevent the summer reading 'dip'.

Newham libraries e-book collection is available at www.newham.gov.uk/libraries and those who are not members of the library can join online to gain instant access to the collection.
