The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK were offering primary school pupils the opportunity to compete in the Greenpower electric car race. Children in Years 5 and 6 were invited to take part in a competition for a chance to win funding for the race, building their own electric racing car, with support from an APC Ambassador. We had to take part in a fun competition by answering the question “How will we travel in the year 2050?” Curwen has won the competition and will begin to build their race car during the half term with the help of their sponsor from DETC, Loughborough London University. The children are Mihaita, Lili'Mai, Casey G, Zandro and Elis who are in year 5 and 6.
