  • Pupil Parliament Network meeting

    Published 28/11/25

Our talented Pupil Parliament representatives recently attended the Newham Pupil Parliament Network meeting on November 24th.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our young leaders to connect with peers from other schools, honing their debating skills and developing their abilities in oracy, advocacy, and representation. They reflected on their roles and duties and discussed what they need to do to become successful members of the Pupil Parliament. They also learnt how debates take place in the Houses of Parliament, culminating in a debate on the crucial topic of the Climate Crisis.

We're incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication!

The play was a huge success and brought lots of laughter from the audience. The children look forward to performing again in school, this time for year 5 & 6 next month.

  • Celebrating Our Big Book Giveaway!

    Published 05/11/25

We’re thrilled to share the success of last term's Big Book Giveaway! This special event was made possible through our partnership with the Children’s Book Project, a wonderful charity dedicated to tackling book poverty and helping every child experience the joy of owning their very own books.

Thanks to their generosity, we received over 1,700 pre-loved and surplus books to give to our pupils this term. Each child had the exciting opportunity to choose two books to take home and keep forever — helping to inspire a lifelong love of reading.

A huge thank you to the Children’s Book Project for their support, and to everyone who helped make this event such a success!
