Newham Collective Worship Competitions

For the last two years Reception has entered the work that they have been doing in RE into the Newham Collective Worship Competition. We are proud to say that for the last two years Reception has won a prize for this. Here are some picture of the work we entered;

2017:

Best response (individual) was Holly J in RP for her story map. The Reception classes won the best overall school for their Church with stain glassed windows.

2018:

Best response (individual) Runner was Subha N in RM for her writing on the Easter story.  We also won Best Class response and Best Runner Up for the Special School reward; these went to Idrees RG and Sirajudden RN for their Eid Cards that they made.

 

 

 

2025: 

This year, for the first time, all UK schools were invited to take part in the Interfaith Week National Pupil Poetry Competition. The theme this year is ‘Community: Together We Serve’ Of the many entries, a winner was selected per year group, with an overall winner from KS1 and KS2 being selected to be entered into the National Poetry competition. 

Year 1: Lucas 1K (overall winner for KS1)

Year 2: Fatima 2A

Year 3: Raima 3F

Year 4: Owen 4O (overall winner for KS2)

Year 5: Lily 5A

Year 6: Amara 6W
