Year 4

Here you will find all the resources for year 4 learning.

Dear Year 4,

We hope you find yourselves well and working hard at home. We have included a suggested timetable that can be used at home. However, we do understand that due to the circumstances, this is not always possible. This is a guidance, feel free to adapt it to your needs and possibilities.

9.00 – Literacy. Use your homework packs and/or google classroom. Additionally, there are plenty of websites that will help you develop your understanding. Check the link “useful websites”.

For example: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/english-games/7-11-years/reading

10.30 – Assembly time. You can watch newsround:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news/watch_newsround

10.45 – Break time. You can do some physical exercise at home: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=joe+pe+kids

11.00 – Maths. Again, use your home booklet or google classroom.

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/Search.aspx?Subject=16&AgeGroup=3

12.00 – Lunch time!

13.00 – Afternoon lessons, whether it’s art, science, topic, music or any other subject. Some worksheets have been sent home in your packs, as well as the work on google classroom and links in the useful website. Additionally, you can use these channels.

It has been amazing seeing the effort that a lot of you are putting into your learning using google classroom. The contents will keep on being updated as often as possible. In addition to this, a pack with more home learning has been left at the office available for any adult that can come and collect it.

With regard to a doubt that has been recurring on google classroom, some of the work might not be easy to do on google classroom. Remember that you were given a green working book to take home. You should be using it for this type of activities. If at any point you need another one, please don’t hesitate in contacting the school.

The government has published a list of websites to ensure that children continue their progress. There are some really interesting ones. Please check:
